Beats the hell out of QuickBooks Pro 8!

I use QuickBooks Pro 7 Pro on my pc's and laptops because it is easier to use and isn't as proprietary as QuickBooks Pro 8, forcing explorer 10 (which is crap), that won't let you modify the setttings. QuickBooks Pro 7 Pro is the way to go !!!

WELL WORTH SPENDING THE TIME TO ADAPT

It is well worth spending the time it takes to adapt to the different concept of the presentation. It is fun trying to find out how to do things that in the previous version were done automatically. When you find the solution, you see that the options the new version puts at your disposal are much greater than were available in the 2003 version.

The Bomb of databases

This is by far the best program with which to build your relational database apps. Very strong scripting makes this really versatile. I have been working for years with an older version and had to upgrade because of the rich variety of new features. What it really needs is a comprehensive training manual.

I really like this database program. It has been so easy for me to learn to design easy to use forms specific to our business. We do all of our purchase orders, estimates, contacts, and work orders in Filemaker Pro. Even the most technology resistant employees have found the forms unintimidating and easy to use. Even though outfitting us all with the database hasn't been cheap, and the updates are a little on the pricey side, I still give Filemaker Pro 5 stars. We'd be lost without it!
